About Me

Hi! I am Amanda-lee Seely owner of Fleur-de-lees Photography.

I specialize in Wedding Photography

Thank you so much for coming by and taking a look around. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Middle Village, New York. I spent most of my holidays and summers, in the heart of wine country, in the Willamette Valley, Oregon.

I worked in the Thoroughbred racing industry for years prior to picking up my first camera and was involved with several Triple Crown contenders. I retired from riding in 2001, but I am very proud of my accomplishments in that industry. It is a time in my life that I will always treasure. I learned that anything is possible when you work hard. I have brought those lessons along with me in the building of my photography studio.

I take pride in telling the story of the special relationships in my client's lives through the images I take.

I am passionate about people having beautiful pictures of themselves and the ones they love. The goal of the photography studio is to make heirlooms for your family that will last beyond a single generation.

I specialize in creative storytelling images.

Working in color, black & white, and vintage my photojournalistic style is modern and distinctive. I have been told my photos make an emotional impact.

The studio donates proceeds each year to no-kill animal shelters.

I also work with each one of my couples to find a charity that might be close to their heart, and donate in their name. I believe in giving back. I am living my dream of being a photographer and I am always hoping to help others in anyway possible.

I live in the small town of Carle Place, NY with my husband Thomas. We own three Pomeranians named Bebe Cakes, Pea Wee and Fleur. I am the aunt to 4 nieces and 2 nephews who find themselves the subject of many of my photographs. I love to work in the garden, go antiquing, and walk with my dogs in my spare time.

I have an awesome assistant Vinny who is with me most of the time out in the field and in the office. I travel to Oregon several times a year and still consider it my home away from home.

Please email me and lets see if we are a perfect fit!

xoxo,

Amanda-lee

To My Husband,

TM, loving you makes perfect sense. Thank you for always supporting me in every way possible. I could have never been able to follow my dreams without your love and support.

xoxo,
